29/6 - From Junee to Ivanhoe

After having a great breakfast we headed out to the pasture to view the livestock our friends have on their patch.  They have a some alpacas and a few sheep.  The sheep had multiplied and now they had 19 new lambs!
We went out despite the drizzling cold rain and patted the alpacas, but the sheep were more timid!
We then said goodbye to our friends and headed for Ivanhoe.  On the way to Ivanhoe just past Hay, the rain stopped and the sun came out.  We didn't see more rain until the Simpson Desert!
Despite patchy clouds, a rainbow appeared.  It only showed the beginning and the end, the rest wasn't there!
Once we arrived in Ivanhoe we decided not to camp, but get some basic indoor accommodation as it was pretty cold and windy.

Sibba looking at the chooks that provide Fran and Keith with fresh eggs!
The chooks also eat all the organic waste.

Despite the cold and drizzling rain we ventured out to see the alpacas and the sheep.

The alpacas came, wanting to be fed as usual!
The sizeable flock of sheep.

The lambs are so pretty!!
We stopped in Hay and I parked.  The big truck parked right behind me!

On the Cobb Hwy to Ivanhoe, you can see the left side of the rainbow in the center.
The right side of the rainbow is here as well, but the rest is missing in action!
