1/7 - From Tibooburra to Haddons Corner

We packed up early and left Tibooburra via the Silver City Hwy towards the Queensland Border.  After only about 56km we hit the Queensland border and thus left NSW.  These are all gravel tracks and once again, not too bad.  Some sections are corrugated, but others quite good.
Past the border we drove another 40km and took a left turn onto the track to Nappa Merrie via Santos and Orientos stations.  This track is more narrow and quite sandy in places.
There are areas with practically no vegetation, so quite unusual for the Outback.  Past Nappa Merrie we headed to Arabury and then onwards to Haddons corner.
Just when we were a short distance from the Haddons corner turn off, I discovered that one of the bolts in the camper trailer suspension had gone missing!
The camper trailer has independent suspension for each wheel and a chain is used to stop the downward travel.  The bold holding the chain on the left wheel had gone.  Thus I had to put in a new bolt!  This bolt is a U shackle and I had an identical spare which I put in place.
Later at Haddons corner it was gone as well, so I put in a normal bolt that has been in place since then and is still there!

Haddons corner marks the state boundaries between Queensland and South Australia.  You can camp there, but there are no facilities in place.  Just some flat ground for camping.

We camped at Haddons corner and later watched a very colorful sunset!

Just past the Nappa Merrie is this colorful hill!
